Correspondence Education Opportunities The National Real Estate Institute offers the eager individual classes that will introduce you to the business of real estate. These courses have been developed and designed by Robert H. Allen, Director of the Institute. Mr. Allen has over 40 years of experience as a Real Estate Broker and Educator. Topics covered include: real property and the law, brokerage and agency, the listing process, government powers, estates in land, encumbrances, how ownership is held, legal descriptions, real estate taxes and other liens, contracts, title transfer and records, financing, leases, property management, appraisal, land use controls, development and subdivision, fair housing regulations, investing, and closing.
